1st and 4most, i shall mention the new trio, Gattopazzo. personnel= sir Evan Shafran plays trapset (drumkit) and brass instruments (trumpet, trombone), Jim Ivy on reeds (various saxophones and such) and Kris Gruda (that's me) on guitar, objects, electronics, voice and such. HERE is a recording of our 1st public performance from april 25th at The Peacock Room in orlando, florida.. our music is through-improvised, thus far, yet we are working on original compositions and cover tunes...we now have a facebook artist page, have a looksy, yo.
i've got 2 recent solo releases on bandcamp i wish to mention= " hcus dnash tny se pat et tessac ", which is is a purty brand new recording featuring layers of manipulated cassette tape home recordings of nylon strangd guitar/ voice/ toy instruments/ electronics/ kitchen sink contents and such. listen/view HERE (note: the $75 pricing is just plain silly..but who knows? haha. you can stream it there in its entirety)....-and- " Time Slice Amassment Vol. 1 " is a straight-to-2-track stereo recording = HERE it is.
